The Company for Environment & Coast was
founded in 1994 by Dr. rer. nat. K. Ahrendt. The company offers a broad spectrum of service all
over coastal problems.
Coastal protection planning and integrated coastal zone management
(ICZM), project development, marine resource and renewables, hydro-numeric
modelling as well as project-management are the main activities of the
company.
Offshore aquaculture and co-utilization (near-shore and offshore wind-parks)
are additional objectives of the company.
The company has a world wide network and a
field office in Argentina.
